World Thinking Day and a Tooth Fairy!

What do they have in common? Lillian lost her thrid tooth (first top tooth) during the Girl Scout World Thinking Day yesterday. All the girl scout troops got together yesterday to learn about all the countries around the world. Our troop chose France and we had a fashion show. Each girl "modeled" a trait about France. We had one girl wear my marathon number and push a bike to display the Tour De France. We had another girl as the Statue of Liberty. We even had one girl wear sunglasses, hat and carry a sand bucket for the French Riviera. We even had a model and you can guess who that was!!! It was a ton of fun and a lot of hard work!

But, right after our show, Lillian was watching all the other Girl Scout troops. And her tooth fell out. All I heard was, "Mom, my tooth came out!" and saw the blood. So, one snaggle tooth girl now and one happy little girl!

She was thrilled the tooth fairy was coming last night! Erin of Ireland is her tooth fairy and she just knew Erin was leaving her $60! What? Erin ended up leaving her $5.00, another tooth fairy gold coin, another certificate to show she lost her third tooth and date and a letter from Erin. Lillian and Lydia were thrilled to see the magic fairy dust she left behind too!

So, another eventful weekend in the Martin household! As always and we wouldn't have it any other way! Love you all!

Under The Sea Exhibit

Today we took we advantage of Rich and Lillian having the day off from school. We went to Crown City and went to the Under The Sea Exhibit. It was adorable and colorful and the girls enjoyed running around the different structures. You could walk through sea weed, climb in a boat, see the Mermaid House or get in the belly of a whale. Both girls had a great time!

We finished the morning with lunch at Fritz's Railroad and made it to the Chocolate Factory. I couldn't believe my Lydia didn't want the marshmellow covered in m&ms and went straight for just plain m&ms. What? Of course, Lillian got m&ms too! I think they will turn into an m&m soon!

We had a fun morning. Lydia is napping now, Rich is writing a paper and Lillian is reading every word that I am typing! :) Now, she is laughing!

Well, that is the update from the family. Everyone is doing well. Rich graduates from his master's course on June 2nd and ILE on June 10th. Lillian is ready for Spring Break in Texas and some warm weather, Lydia is running wild and acting like a 6 year old (but she can say her alphabet, count to 14 and is pottied trained) and Rich is ready to be done with school for a while. And me...just thankful there is no snow on the ground!!! Love you all!
